Removal of the CV Joint – 1997 Lancer Sedan (CK)

Start off with un-bolting the 2 bolt support holding the whole disc brake assembly on the Shock Absorber. It will hang down making enough room to pull out the whole axle from the transmission. Since the Velocity Joint is tightly inserted on the disc brake assembly, you will need to hammer the axle velocity joint bold from the front of the disc assembly and try to pry it behind once you get a gap enough for a lever to move it. Hammer it lightly so as not to damage the bolt thread.
